Stranded at AIH

As I try to achieve workl-ife balance by taking mini weekend vacations every chance I get, I learned a very valuable lesson today; make sure that your destination has a "Passenger's Club" for airline you are traveling on.
As a loyal American Airline flyer I have been spoiled by having access to their Admiral's Club. If there is a delay, I wait in the comfort of the club's ammenities. Today I'm stuck in Houston International going on a 4 hr delay, no Admiral's Club here because it is Continental's hub. The irony is that I could have flown Continental on my return flight and use their club's amenities if I only would have known.
This is what I see now, empty rows in a cold room, a few stranded travelers like me playing with their gadgets. I learned something today, I hope they did too...

The sights of Old Town Spring PetFest Houston Tx

These are some of the pretty pups hanging out at the PetFest. Some were up for adoption,

like the smart Pug "Britney" pictured left doing her best to impress!! I was moved by all the beautiful dogs up for adoption, most of them pure bred such as Springer Spaniels, Pugs, Chihuahuas, King Charles Spaniels, and several daschunds. If you have the opportunity to rescue a pet from a shelter, please do do. These animals need good homes and will give you plenty love in return.

Bullies at Barkpark Miami FL

BulliesSunset meet at Tropical Park was nice, a few bullies attended and they all had a good time. 6 pm is a good time for a get together in SoFla. Here are a few pictures to document the event.
